Thank You

Gradually the moment is advancing,
and you will be gone for the night.
Very soon birds will return home,
And couples will start romancing.


Here in this moment in time,
I want to say thank you.


I want to thank you today,
not for your warmth,
on those nippy mornings.
and not for those bright sunny days.


I want to thank you today,
not for your light,
that made my photography crisper,
and not for those picture perfect hikes.


I want to thank you today,
not for your energy,
that I have received every day,
and not for the powerful breeze and waves.


In those cottony lit nights,
her skin turns pearl. And
I am submerged in that moment,
But can still see moon afloat in her eyes.


It’s in these times, I have experienced beauty,
which is beyond the realms of words.


Acknowledging moon for moonlight,
would have never been supreme true.
Hence for this celestial sphere so white,
that reflects your light and hue,
I am hereby saying ‘Thank You’.
